NaPoWriMo #7 - Write a cinquain

A cinquain is a short, usually unrhymed poem consisting of twenty-two syllables distributed as 2, 4, 6, 8, 2, in five lines.

Languid
melt of summer,
scent of honeysuckle,
roses tumbling by the back door,
July.

How I wish it was here. Cold outside, keeps threatening rain, and I've caught a cold. I love this languid poem.

Pretty, Marianne, I love how you handle these short forms, so well.
Much harder, than one would think.
