She considers the pandemic with dread,
feels helpless; there's no one to ride in
on a white horse to save her.
Everything's grim these days
and she doesn't know
if she's strong enough
to survive the new reality.
Her world is consumed
by fear of COVID19.
She recognizes she's only got
a handful of moments left.
