Is This Love
The sunshine in Mears Park is warm and hopeful,
golden shafts slant against her closed eyelids.
Too comfortable to move, she is yet conscious
of synchronized motion from strolling passers-by.
They move slowly, enjoying the perfect day.
Occasionally, they jostle against a rogue tulip,
pause to chat, peer wistfully in shop windows.
She hears church bells in the distance,
presses his hand to her thumping heart. Quite
by accident, they have found overwhelming
peace; they are woven together in sunlight.

Sounds like love to me too. Reminds me of my wife and I walking in Golden Gate Park, and finding that special spot to be alone together.
