New wordle words from The Sunday Whirl and Brenda's husband, Len! What a guy! Although I admit that for me, these were some of the most difficult words we've had!
trade, customers, confidential, fog,
weeping, visions, blur, charms,
belt, interview, sticker, ransacked
Toxic Consequences
She grips the gold crucifix charm
hanging from the long chain
around her neck,
feels a strange,
out-of-body sensation,
foggy air currents
thrum against her skin.
Weeping, vision blurry,
she ransacks her purse
for the brown pill bottle,
too late, reads
the warning sticker:
Do not drink alcoholic
beverages when taking
this medication.

Oh, I hope she hadn't been drinking then.
Nice write from the prompt words. Great imagery.
Marianne, You've captured the feeling of overdoing it well, interesting that some do it on purpose, isn't it? Ick. I love "thrum against her skin." Thrum is among my favorite words.
These words were hard for me, too, until I got started and came up with the tree. :)
Interesting take on the wordle words. I like the "thrum against her skin" line. Thrum is an interesting word, I can actually feel it in my mouth when I think the word.
Marianne, you said you had difficulty with the words. I don't see that here. Well done.

You and I sort of drew from the same well today. Sobering realities out there.
Yikes! Seems she read the warning too late!
A startling revelation and somehow we all identify with that feeling that *it's too late*.
Marianne, it's very visceral, as she grips the charm, and with the "foggy currents", then action, ransacking, and then understanding.

Yikes!!! Interesting how that poem went. Poor soul.
I agree with the comments that the words proved to be difficult - my entry for the wordle is proof enough!
enjoyed your take on the words
