A slit in the curtains,
tender sliver of hope, allows
the tiniest flicker of sunlight
into my safe space
where I've been hiding
away from the coronavirus.
More light sneaks in,
mellow and glowing.
I want to yell from the rooftops,
I'm still alive. I'm here.
Here, until the world becomes
safe and sane again.

Oh, I can feel your pain in this, Marianne. I am sure that you are missing your granddaughters horribly. A blessed Good Friday to you.
Love,
Pammy
Yes, it's difficult, even for a Hermit like myself. Let that small light that peaks through the curtain, warm and soothe you. Let it heal that ache within, so when we are allowed to go out, you will have something precious that only you can give.

Oh yes, the sliver of light!
