#28. Before

She's started thinking about before;

before the first person

died from Coronavirus,

before COVID19 spread like wild fire,
destroying thousands of lives.

Before, when we took 
everything for granted,

before we realized

how lucky we used to be,

only we didn't know.

She feels immense gratitude
for the human experience,
for the way things were, before.
It's humbling to see how quickly 
all the good can be taken away.
