To Purple
Regal and spiritual, it is the route to perfection’s path,
the way to fame and fortune. Intensified by red, diluted
by inky blue, it glows with un-common brilliance.
It's a sympathetic murmur of the heart. It mourns
in an undulating abyss, is unafraid in it's gaudiness,
is bubbly as champagne. It is desire surging and spinning,
it is dark mists shielding us like the gentle sounds
of stillness long after the shock waves have burrowed in.
