#6. Fences

The fence divides them
in this time of Coronavirus,
reminds them to keep their distance.
They're children, two sets of sisters,
living in isolation in the city,
playing dolls together, each family
on their own side of the silvery wires.
Giggles and whispers permeate
the warm June afternoon,
and they forget, for a little while.

Your granddaughters and their friends. Them forgetting just for a little while is important.
